This Samsung replaced my 8 year old 26" Sony.I do not have a HD signal yet, but I can't imagine receiving a better picture.The old Sony weighed at least 100 pounds and I had to get my wife to help me do it out of the cabinet. This Samsung is light as a feather compared to the Sony behemoth.I waited years for the LCD down to my price range, and Im glad I waited. A excellent product!.
